A child and adolescent psychologist with experiences in helping children and adolescent with learning difficulties, emotional or relationship problems, and many more. She is qualified in practicing various types of therapy, such as art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and hypnotherapy.

 

Monica was the best graduate of Tarumanagara University’s Faculty of Psychology and earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology there. Her passion to become a child and adolescent clinical psychologist has grown from her love for children. Monica realized that becoming a strong individual in the future needs a long process starting in early childhood - it could not happen overnight.

 

Therefore, Monica is involved in children’s character building since she was in Junior High School. Monica also participated in various trainings and certification to help children deal with their problems. She is qualified in practicing various types of therapy, such as art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and hypnotherapy. Some cases that Monica has helped with are children’s learning difficulties, emotional problems, peer relationship problems, anxiety, underdeveloped self-concept, and so on.

 

As a wife and a mother of two, Monica highly values togetherness and teamwork in the family. She realized that children and adolescence development depends on parents’ roles. Therefore, Monica also gives guidance to parents in order to acquire and implement the most suitable parenting style for the children. Because of her expertise, Monica has received offers and invitations from medias (printed, electronic, or online) to be interviewed regarding child, adolescence, and parenting.
